Doulos is a radical programme designed to help students develop their understanding of biblical principles and equip them to put them into practice in all areas of their lives. The programme has been running since the 1980s and is now offered in six countries. Previous students all report major growth in character and relationship with God, and are more integrated into the church community after completing the programme.

There are now two strands of Doulos to choose from - Doulos International and Doulos Academy. The strands often run in alternate years, although they can be sometimes at the same time. Both strands are avialble on a full or part-time basis.
Doulos International is a ten month programme of intense serving and development. Weekly teaching sessions and individually tailored projects form its basis, and each student is assigned a personal tutor to help apply the teaching to all aspects of their lives. Students also have a project mentor to help them develop their project, designed to stretch each individual student.
Doulos Academy is targeted at those who have a specific idea or vision that they would like to spend a year developing, within a team of fellow students. Alongside workshop-based teaching sessions, students are given one-to-one support by project mentors as they build teams from the community around themselves to move their project to the next level.
Previous students have set up pioneering businesses, worked with international partners to find and promote sustainable income generation solutions and set up community cafes and outreach groups.

"The course has challenged the way I think and perceive issues and situations. The three strands of the has enabled me to practically use what I learn and has supported me to deal with challenges that arise. I feel this has better prepared me for life through helping me to know God and trust in him."
"I finished Doulos with a recognition that we should be making a difference in the places that we are."
