At times, we may feel like life sucks. All of us will go through periods of personal suffering. Outside of those times we are likely to be witnessing loved ones suffering.
Often when we ask this question, we are actually asking, “Does He care?”, “Does He see me?”
There are many assumptions that we might not even be aware of when processing suffering. Once we unpack these we can zoom out of our immediate circumstance and have a broader picture of our world, our part in it and the purpose of life.
We might not find a conclusive answer to why God allows suffering but this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ask because by embarking on this quest we might find something we value greater…
