When and where
We meet at 10.30am every Sunday at the LifeLine Centre, 352–364 Valence Avenue, Dagenham RM8 3QU.
What happens?
Our gathering normally lasts around 90 minutes and includes musical worship, stories of what God is doing, prayer and teaching from the Bible. The style is informal and people participate in different ways.
What should I wear?
Whatever you normally feel comfortable wearing. There is no dress code.
What about children?
Children are very welcome. Age-appropriate activities are normally available during the Sunday meeting talk for children from nursery age through to year 6. A room is available for parents with younger children.
Some children’s activities are hosted in our other building, LifeLine at the Corner. This is across a busy road and you will need to accompany your children there, collecting them afterwards. You’ll be alerted when it’s time to collect your children – do return to the LifeLine Centre for tea, coffee and to meet people afterwards.
Our designated safeguarding lead is Avril McIntyre. If you ever need to talk about something you’ve seen, heard or noticed that concerns you, just ask to speak to her.
What about accessibility?
The LifeLine Centre has step-free access and an accessible toilet. There are two disabled parking bays at the front of the building which are available on a first come, first served basis. Other parking is available at Valence Primary School, accessed via the Bonham Road entrance from 10am. This facility, kindly provided by the school, closes after refreshments on a Sunday.
What happens afterwards?
There is time to talk and meet people. On some Sundays, people also open their homes for coffee and conversation. You can join in or leave whenever you wish.
